BBC Music gives Dmitri’s new recording of Tchaikovsky Romances five stars in the February 2010 issue of the magazine. The reviewer writes: “Nearly 20 years have elapsed since Dmitri Hvorostovsky first recorded Tchaikovsky songs. Alongside the same ineffable legato, there’s more pointing of the words and more inwardness in softer dynamics.”
