Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Ivari Ilja head to Prague for all-Russian recital

The Siberian baritone and his frequent collaborator, pianist Ivari Ilja, are on their way to the third annual Dvořák Prague Festival in the Czech Republic to perform a recital of Russian art songs. Composers whose works are featured on the August 27 program include Tchaikovsky, Medtner, and Rachmaninoff. For those unable to attend the live performance, many of these pieces can be heard on Dmitri’s two most recent recordings for the Delos label, Tchaikovsky Romances and Pushkin Romances.
